Cancellation by The Gordon
Cancellation of the course by Gordon Specialist Courses
A transfer option or a full refund will apply in this instance (see “Refunds” below).
Cancellation by the student
Notice of cancellation must be given 5 working days prior to commencement of the course. A full refund less a $20 administration fee will apply (see “Refunds” below). If less than 5 working days’ notice is given no refund will be granted.
In the event of extenuating circumstances participants must apply in writing, attaching a medical certificate in the case of illness. Each case will be considered individually. A $20 administration fee may still apply.
Transfers
Transfers to another course or time must be requested prior to course commencement to avoid penalty.
Change of timing or venue of course
If the timing or venue of a course has to be changed and it no longer suits a participant to attend, a full refund will apply (see “Refunds” below).
Refunds
Please note refunds will be issued by cheque, credit card or EFT within 10 – 15 working days.
The Gordon is required to provide the Victorian Government, through The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, with student and training activity data which may include information you provide in this enrolment form. Information is required to be provided in accordance with the Victorian VET Student Statistical Collection Guidelines (which are available at http://www.education.vic.gov.au/training/providers/rto/Pages/datacollection.aspx). The Department may use the information provided to it for planning, administration, policy development, program evaluation, resource allocation, reporting and/or research activities. For these and other lawful purposes, Skills Victoria may also disclose information to its consultants, advisers, other government agencies, professional bodies and/or other organisations.
The Gordon asks for the contact details of a person it may need to contact in an emergency. I will ensure that the person I nominate as an emergency contact knows about this arrangement and have given permission for me to provide their personal details to The Gordon.

Third Party
If enrolling on behalf of a third party I acknowledge that the third party is aware of their rights, obligations and the details of this course.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this statement and:
- I declare that the information provided to The Gordon is to the best of my knowledge true, correct and complete at the time of my enrolment and that providing any false information and/or failing to disclose any information relevant to my enrolment and/or eligibility to obtain an offer for government subsidised training may result in the withdrawal of any offer and/or cancellation of enrolment at the discretion of The Gordon.
- I agree to abide by the standards of conduct, policies, rules and regulations during my enrolment.
- I agree to pay all fees and charges applicable to and arising from my enrolment.
- I am aware that courses may not run if there is insufficient number of students.
- I agree that in case of an accident or illness where I require medical treatment, staff will call an ambulance and I will be responsible for ambulance fees and medical costs involved.
- I agree to pay interest and penalty charges on any outstanding fees payable to the Gordon and if I default in payment of any invoice when due, including invoices for outstanding library materials, will indemnify the Gordon from and against all costs and disbursement incurred by the Gordon in pursuing the debt including legal costs on an indemnity basis and the Gordon’s reasonable collection agency costs.
